Well now! after all this time!
 I have just found my blogspot again have not blogged for 2 years

I haven't been lazy at all just diverted to other things.

I am still painting a little,  but my time is spent knitting for photographers.
I also knit for my shop on folksy ,  I adore making the little Mary Jane booties,  you can view in
  ' folsky bluebeezy '
Getting back to the photographers

The photographer dresses the new born babies in unusual knitted hats and headbands whilst the baby is nestling in a hand knitted hammock!
That's where I come in. I design and knit hats and headbands for new born babes  I also knit the hammocks.
I'm always thinking of new designs.

Encaustic Wax Painting

Nearly 20 years ago I started wax painting, doing demonstrations at craft fairs and coaching pupils.

Well I have been tempted to start again and was very surprised to find that my little white painting iron still worked after all this time, it was hiding in the back of a cupboard.

I bought a new stylus and 49 waxes, and had a go!!!

Here are my first attempts. It is an amazing craft, as no two pictures will be the same.

I have sold a couple on e.bay already and have several on there for sale, now!!!

Just a quickie post this time

I am so thrilled I have just sold my first item on etsy to someone in U.S.

Hoping it is the first of many!!!

I Opened a Shop on Etsy

In March I decided to try selling my paintings in Etsy

I had been saying I must have a go at selling in U.S.A. and every one kept encouraging me to do so.

It is very different to folsky in as much as I can't get my head around the forums. You don't seem to be able to have a conversation with any one. One must join a' team' Well I joined two teams and they are very welcoming to new people, but I am not sure how to operate in these teams. How to promote one's items for instance.

However I am enjoying the new experience, and making some friends

What to do With an old Frame

I decided to frame four of my aceo paintings.

Came across this old red frame, which had been hanging around for quite a while.

With the red in the images it toned in with the red frame.

I was quite pleased with the final arrangement.

Might make some to sell in my shop -- if there was any interest, that is, will do some research!!

In the mean time here is my latest aceo, thinking of Spring and apple blossom.

About Time Too

Well here she is our little Tuppence---7 months old now!

See how she has grown. You never know how they will turn out when you buy a cross breed.

Tuppy's mum is a Yorkie and her dad is a Jack Russell

We were lucky with that combination as you can see ,she is gorgeous!
