Lazy Week End

We did not have any craft fairs Sat or Sun ,so we relaxed a bit in the garden, still watching the great tits feeding their young.
The two pairs of canaries have started laying their eggs now,it has been too cold for them recently.
Our diamond doves are on their 2nd nesting with just 1 egg this time
Their 1st two babies are doing just fine.

I did do some craft work too, when it got so hot outside
I made up some button hair clips. Now where shall I list them?? hmm.
misi is dead or dying at the moment, folksy is very slow, and dreamaid is new
May be I will take them to my next craft fair which is on Mon 31st.
It is in Harwell village and is called' Harwell feast'
Sounds like fun as there is a lot going on to gain peoples interest. if the weather is kind .
Let you know how we get on

Super Glue

I have never used this glue before, but I wanted to make some dice ear rings.
Very pleased with the outcome .
And I managed not to stick myself to one of them.
It's scary stuff. You have to work quickly
Shall be trying it out again on some more designs soon

New listings in dreamaid

I have slowly been filling my shop at http://www.dreamaid.com/store/stowlyboxx

to-day I listed two items this lovely hair clip and a pair of fun ear rings

Then, spent a little time watching the blue tit parents feeding their brood in our woodpecker nest box.It is a bit large for them but they are managing o.k. in there.

Say Hello to Bonnie

She is about 7 years old now,not entirely sure as we rescued her from Hearing Dogs.
Bonnie was too shy to become a hearing dog,so was classified as a 'fallen angel'
Not always an angel tho'
Last year she managed to lock us out of the house. We were in the garden Bonnie was indoors.
Well, she managed to scrabble her little paws against the bolt at the bottom of the door and was able to pull it across thereby locking us out.
As you can imagine we were not best pleased with the angel.
We had to break into our own house!!
She is so pretty and innocent looking as you can see.

New project

I have been a bit lazy designing something for my 'folksy' shop,
So had a go to-day and came up with this button Pendant.
Am busy making stock for the impending craft fairs.

Got lots of fairs coming along soon fully booked for June.
I don't specialize in one craft, too boring!
I am always knitting my little hedge hogs[can be viewed in 'greanbea see window]
I design and make jewellery, cards, and any new craft that takes my eye
I am into buttons at the moment, love the colours
Here is the latest design.

Doves

I managed to upload the images of our three day old baby diamond doves
They look so cute sitting in my hand, just like ducklings.

In 7 days time they will be out of the nest, and flying around the aviary.
The parents will continue to feed them for a while, then mum will be laying the next clutch.

I have been telling myself be brave have a go at this blogging lark.Well! so far so good.
I'm a blogger yeh!

One of my hobbies is breeding and keeping aviary birds, namely canaries, button quail, diamond doves, and a couple of black cheeked finches. They are all nesting a t the moment

We do have some baby doves just hatched out, photo to come later,if I can manage to load them here, another lesson to learn!!

I think that is enough now for a beginner.
