More A.C.E.O. original Paintings

Been busy with my paintbrush again,the abstract seems quite popular in my folksy shop so far lots of views.

I have just listed the 'cute ducklings on a lilly pond ,to-day

Will see what sort of receptions that one gets.

One can never tell what people will like.

Art is in the eye of the beholder they say.

I have just discovered an interesting thread on folksy featuring aceo's [art cards,editions & originals]

So I have joined in with one of my miniature paintings - they must measure 3.5 ins x2.5 ins to qualify as an aceo.

I have just listed my first piccie on folksy,do have a peep!

I intend to be painting some more soon.

Lucky Winner!!

I have just received my 'Give away prize' all the way from Massachusetts,

I could'nt believe my eyes when the postman handed me this very large box.

I did not expect such a big item,the' afghan throw' is huge,and the colours match my furniture as you can see in the images.

What a clever lady Debbie Malloy is.

So much work, must have taken hours to make. I am so pleased to receive such a beautiful item.

Every time I go into the lounge it makes me smile,

You must look at' poetesswug's blogs she writes the most lovely poetry,aswell as making crochet hats and things,what a busy lady !!

Reductions

I have decided to reduce my felt applique brooches

from £6.50 down to £4.50

'Flue' Jab,Anyone?

I went for my annual flue jab on Wednesday,

on Friday I had developed a prickly soreness in my throat,

by Saturday I had started a full blown dose of 'flue'.

Been in bed since then, with a fever and all that goes with the dreaded 'flue'

Has anyone suffered like this after getting jabbed that you know of? is it unusual?

I shall think twice before going to my doctor's surgery to get 'flue in future,Cough Cough Sneeze

Oh excuse me!!

Then I was cheered up by' poetesswug' Deb telling me that I had won her latest givaway.

It is a afghan crocheted by her.I am looking forward to my parcel all the way from America,

what a generous person she is.
