Sold -' just like that'

I am going to show off now
This little A.C.E.O. painting was listed in my folksy shop,
and within 2 minutes it was bought and paid for.

In fact the paint was only just dry,
when I listed it.

That sort of thing does not happen very often ,only once before.
Must get going on some more I guess.

My day is made

  1. Excellent Jeanie, it seems these little masters created are the latest must haves. Where did the idea originate? I have seen lots on folksy now.

  2. Hi Chrissy, thanks for comment.I don't know where the idea originated, must be quite a few years ago.
The people with all the knowledge are on the aceo thread on folksy.I just picked up from there, found my paints and started painting,
The person that started the thread on folksy is
'teabreaks' I believe. She is a wonderful painter herself.
These miniature paintings are very collectable we are told, very popular in U.S.A.
There are thousands of them on etsy for sale.
We are just beginners on folksy, but gathering speed every day now.
You know what they say,'watch this space'

  6. It's a very pretty painting and I can see why it sold so quickly.
I once listed a knitted mouse in my etsy shop and then went to do the weekly shop at Tesco and when I arrived home, mouse had sold! It does happen but not often as you say. WELL DONE!
